In 2017, founder Cindy McGhee, CPA, set out to disrupt the tax and accounting industry. After 15 years working in global firms serving large corporations and multiplying the wealth of their owners, she realized the existing model ignored small and growing business owners. Discontent with business as usual, she created NextGen, a tech-forward CPA firm built for the NextGeneration of ultra-successful entrepreneurs.
Now, Cindy pairs over two decades of experience with a dynamic team of fellow CPAs, MBAs and attorneys to serve growing businesses throughout the region. with one goal in mind: Building your empire.

MANAGING DIRECTOR
CINDY MCGHEE, CPA
Cindy brings the right mix of education, experience and enthusiasm to the firm. She holds a Master’s of Science degree in Accounting, and has been a practicing CPA for over 18 years. Her career began with Ernst & Young LLP, a “Big 4” accounting firm, which laid the foundation for her professionalism and work ethic throughout her career.
Cindy has been in private practice for nearly 11 years and attracted a clientele that ranges from Fortune 500 CEOs to NFL athletes to owners of local start-ups. Under her leadership the firm is one of the fastest growing in the area serving clients in 14 states and counting.
When not working she spends her time with her husband of 15 years, Dr. Jonathan McGhee and their two kids. She is generous to local charities and faith-based organizations, and can be found enjoying down-time with family and friends and reading a good book.
Christina is a Tulsa native and graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. She holds a Master’s Degree of Business Administration from Northeastern State University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance from The University of Tulsa. Prior to joining the firm, Christina was an accomplished Senior Financial Analyst at a Fortune 500 company. Her keen problem-solving skills are an asset to our team. When not working, you’ll find Christina getting her hands dirty with DIY projects — turning ordinary things from drab to fab — and engaging her community through volunteerism, by proxy of Tulsa’s graduate chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Alpha Chi Omega, of which she is a member.

Originally from Tulsa, KeQuana graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Finance. She was introduced to Accounting in high school and was interested in how accounting and bookkeeping are the building blocks of a business. Prior to joining NextGen, she gained valuable accounting experience at several local banks and tax firms. She loves spending time with her family and friends. When she’s not immersed in bookkeeping, she enjoys dancing and fitness, crafting new and old skills, travel, and working with children.

Tinisha is a graduate of Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma with a bachelor's degree. Prior to joining the NextGen team, Tinisha worked in banking for five years. She works closely with clients who are new to Team NextGen to ensure a smooth onboarding process. Tinisha ensures clients feel valued and appreciated while identifying ways to continue to add value for them and their organization. Outside of work, Tinisha enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching movies, and working on DIY projects. She really enjoys baking and hopes to one day own her own bakery business.

Liria is a recent graduate from Oral Roberts University with a Master's in Business Administration. She also holds a Bachelor's in Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Tulsa. She enjoys spending time with family & friends, cooking, and watching action and drama series in her spare time. She demonstrates her passion for helping others by volunteering at Victory Kids. Liria also plans to use this same passion and make a positive, lasting impact on her clients' businesses.
